The officers building looking over the water with the new apartment buildings in the background on June 12, 2012.  Lots has changed in the inlet over the years with new building developments and facilities

An abandoned military building crumbling away on Cole Island in June 12, 2012.  This building was used as the living quarters for the officer looking after the island.

A few bricks are left from what used to have been a brick pathway on June 12, 2012.  Cole island used to be developed but has since been overgrown with trees and bushes.

A barred door covers the entrance to one of the munitions buildings on June 12, 2012.  This
is for safety reasons so that nobody can fall through the wood.

  1. Myles, I really like your camera work here. You used great angles, lots of variation, and sweet lighting. You've given this location, the buildings, and the surroundings some life. Good job!
